tailscale.DeviceKey
Explore with Pulumi AI
The device_key resource allows you to update the properties of a device’s key
Example Usage
import * as pulumi from "@pulumi/pulumi";
import * as tailscale from "@pulumi/tailscale";
const exampleDevice = tailscale.getDevice({
name: "device.example.com",
});
const exampleKey = new tailscale.DeviceKey("example_key", {
deviceId: exampleDevice.then(exampleDevice => exampleDevice.id),
keyExpiryDisabled: true,
});
import pulumi
import pulumi_tailscale as tailscale
example_device = tailscale.get_device(name="device.example.com")
example_key = tailscale.DeviceKey("example_key",
device_id=example_device.id,
key_expiry_disabled=True)

Create DeviceKey Resource
Resources are created with functions called constructors. To learn more about declaring and configuring resources, see Resources.

Constructor example
The following reference example uses placeholder values for all input properties.
var deviceKeyResource = new Tailscale.DeviceKey("deviceKeyResource", new()
{
DeviceId = "string",
KeyExpiryDisabled = false,
});
example, err := tailscale.NewDeviceKey(ctx, "deviceKeyResource", &tailscale.DeviceKeyArgs{
DeviceId: pulumi.String("string"),
KeyExpiryDisabled: pulumi.Bool(false),
})
var deviceKeyResource = new DeviceKey("deviceKeyResource", DeviceKeyArgs.builder()
.deviceId("string")
.keyExpiryDisabled(false)
.build());
device_key_resource = tailscale.DeviceKey("deviceKeyResource",
device_id="string",
key_expiry_disabled=False)
const deviceKeyResource = new tailscale.DeviceKey("deviceKeyResource", {
deviceId: "string",
keyExpiryDisabled: false,
});
type: tailscale:DeviceKey
properties:
deviceId: string
keyExpiryDisabled: false
DeviceKey Resource Properties
To learn more about resource properties and how to use them, see Inputs and Outputs in the Architecture and Concepts docs.
Inputs
In Python, inputs that are objects can be passed either as argument classes or as dictionary literals.
The DeviceKey resource accepts the following input properties:
- Device
Id string - The device to update the key properties of
- Key
Expiry boolDisabled - Determines whether or not the device's key will expire. Defaults to
false
.
- Device
Id string - The device to update the key properties of
- Key
Expiry boolDisabled - Determines whether or not the device's key will expire. Defaults to
false
.
- device

- key
Expiry BooleanDisabled - Determines whether or not the device's key will expire. Defaults to
false
.
- device
Id string - The device to update the key properties of
- key
Expiry booleanDisabled - Determines whether or not the device's key will expire. Defaults to
false
.
- device_
id str - The device to update the key properties of
- key_
expiry_ booldisabled - Determines whether or not the device's key will expire. Defaults to
false
.
- device
Id String - The device to update the key properties of
- key
Expiry BooleanDisabled - Determines whether or not the device's key will expire. Defaults to
false
.
Outputs
All input properties are implicitly available as output properties. Additionally, the DeviceKey resource produces the following output properties:
- Id string
- The provider-assigned unique ID for this managed resource.
- Id string
- The provider-assigned unique ID for this managed resource.
- id String
- The provider-assigned unique ID for this managed resource.

Look up Existing DeviceKey Resource
Get an existing DeviceKey resource’s state with the given name, ID, and optional extra properties used to qualify the lookup.
public static get(name: string, id: Input<ID>, state?: DeviceKeyState, opts?: CustomResourceOptions): DeviceKey
@staticmethod
def get(resource_name: str,
id: str,
opts: Optional[ResourceOptions] = None,
device_id: Optional[str] = None,
key_expiry_disabled: Optional[bool] = None) -> DeviceKey
func GetDeviceKey(ctx *Context, name string, id IDInput, state *DeviceKeyState, opts ...ResourceOption) (*DeviceKey, error)
public static DeviceKey Get(string name, Input<string> id, DeviceKeyState? state, CustomResourceOptions? opts = null)
public static DeviceKey get(String name, Output<String> id, DeviceKeyState state, CustomResourceOptions options)
