    Manages a V3 Role resource within OpenStack Keystone.

    Note: You must have admin privileges in your OpenStack cloud to use this resource.

    Example Usage

    Create Role Resource

    Resources are created with functions called constructors. To learn more about declaring and configuring resources, see Resources.

    Constructor example

    The following reference example uses placeholder values for all input properties.

    var roleResource = new OpenStack.Identity.Role("roleResource", new()
    {
        DomainId = "string",
        Name = "string",
        Region = "string",
    });

    example, err := identity.NewRole(ctx, "roleResource", &identity.RoleArgs{
    	DomainId: pulumi.String("string"),
    	Name:     pulumi.String("string"),
    	Region:   pulumi.String("string"),
    })

    var roleResource = new Role("roleResource", RoleArgs.builder()
        .domainId("string")
        .name("string")
        .region("string")
        .build());

    role_resource = openstack.identity.Role("roleResource",
        domain_id="string",
        name="string",
        region="string")

    const roleResource = new openstack.identity.Role("roleResource", {
        domainId: "string",
        name: "string",
        region: "string",
    });

    type: openstack:identity:Role
    properties:
        domainId: string
        name: string
        region: string

    Role Resource Properties

    To learn more about resource properties and how to use them, see Inputs and Outputs in the Architecture and Concepts docs.

    Inputs

    In Python, inputs that are objects can be passed either as argument classes or as dictionary literals.

    The Role resource accepts the following input properties:

    DomainId string
    The domain the role belongs to.
    Name string
    The name of the role.
    Region string
    The region in which to obtain the V3 Keystone client. If omitted, the region argument of the provider is used. Changing this creates a new Role.
    DomainId string
    The domain the role belongs to.
    Name string
    The name of the role.
    Region string
    The region in which to obtain the V3 Keystone client. If omitted, the region argument of the provider is used. Changing this creates a new Role.
    domainId String
    The domain the role belongs to.
    name String
    The name of the role.
    region String

    domain_id str
    The domain the role belongs to.
    name str
    The name of the role.
    region str
    The region in which to obtain the V3 Keystone client. If omitted, the region argument of the provider is used. Changing this creates a new Role.
    domainId String
    The domain the role belongs to.

    The name of the role.
    region String
    The region in which to obtain the V3 Keystone client. If omitted, the region argument of the provider is used. Changing this creates a new Role.

    Outputs

    All input properties are implicitly available as output properties. Additionally, the Role resource produces the following output properties:

    Look up Existing Role Resource

    Get an existing Role resource’s state with the given name, ID, and optional extra properties used to qualify the lookup.

    public static get(name: string, id: Input<ID>, state?: RoleState, opts?: CustomResourceOptions): Role
    @staticmethod
    def get(resource_name: str,
            id: str,
            opts: Optional[ResourceOptions] = None,
            domain_id: Optional[str] = None,
            name: Optional[str] = None,
            region: Optional[str] = None) -> Role
    func GetRole(ctx *Context, name string, id IDInput, state *RoleState, opts ...ResourceOption) (*Role, error)
    public static Role Get(string name, Input<string> id, RoleState? state, CustomResourceOptions? opts = null)
    public static Role get(String name, Output<String> id, RoleState state, CustomResourceOptions options)

    Import

    Roles can be imported using the id, e.g.

    $ pulumi import openstack:identity/role:Role role_1 89c60255-9bd6-460c-822a-e2b959ede9d2
