    This data source provides details about a specific Ipv6 resource in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Core service.

    Gets the specified IPv6. You must specify the object’s OCID. Alternatively, you can get the object by using ListIpv6s with the IPv6 address (for example, 2001:0db8:0123:1111:98fe:dcba:9876:4321) and subnet OCID.

    Example Usage

    import * as pulumi from "@pulumi/pulumi";
    import * as oci from "@pulumi/oci";

    const testIpv6 = oci.Core.getIpv6({
        ipv6id: testIpv6OciCoreIpv6.id,
    });

    import pulumi
    import pulumi_oci as oci

    test_ipv6 = oci.Core.get_ipv6(ipv6id=test_ipv6_oci_core_ipv6["id"])

    package main

    import (
    	"github.com/pulumi/pulumi-oci/sdk/v2/go/oci/Core"
    	"github.com/pulumi/pulumi/sdk/v3/go/pulumi"
    )

    func main() {
    	pulumi.Run(func(ctx *pulumi.Context) error {
    		_, err := Core.GetIpv6(ctx, &core.GetIpv6Args{
    			Ipv6id: testIpv6OciCoreIpv6.Id,
    		}, nil)
    		if err != nil {
    			return err
    		}
    		return nil
    	})
    }

    using System.Collections.Generic;
    using System.Linq;
    using Pulumi;
    using Oci = Pulumi.Oci;

    return await Deployment.RunAsync(() =>
    {
        var testIpv6 = Oci.Core.GetIpv6.Invoke(new()
        {
            Ipv6id = testIpv6OciCoreIpv6.Id,
        });

    });

    Using getIpv6

    Two invocation forms are available. The direct form accepts plain arguments and either blocks until the result value is available, or returns a Promise-wrapped result. The output form accepts Input-wrapped arguments and returns an Output-wrapped result.

    function getIpv6(args: GetIpv6Args, opts?: InvokeOptions): Promise<GetIpv6Result>
    function getIpv6Output(args: GetIpv6OutputArgs, opts?: InvokeOptions): Output<GetIpv6Result>
    def get_ipv6(ipv6id: Optional[str] = None,
                 opts: Optional[InvokeOptions] = None) -> GetIpv6Result
    def get_ipv6_output(ipv6id: Optional[pulumi.Input[str]] = None,
                 opts: Optional[InvokeOptions] = None) -> Output[GetIpv6Result]
    func GetIpv6(ctx *Context, args *GetIpv6Args, opts ...InvokeOption) (*GetIpv6Result, error)
    func GetIpv6Output(ctx *Context, args *GetIpv6OutputArgs, opts ...InvokeOption) GetIpv6ResultOutput

    > Note: This function is named GetIpv6 in the Go SDK.
