Create ProcessMonitoring Resource
Resources are created with functions called constructors. To learn more about declaring and configuring resources, see Resources.

Constructor example
The following reference example uses placeholder values for all input properties.
var processMonitoringResource = new Dynatrace.ProcessMonitoring("processMonitoringResource", new()
{
AutoMonitoring = false,
HostGroupId = "string",
});
example, err := dynatrace.NewProcessMonitoring(ctx, "processMonitoringResource", &dynatrace.ProcessMonitoringArgs{
AutoMonitoring: pulumi.Bool(false),
HostGroupId: pulumi.String("string"),
})
var processMonitoringResource = new ProcessMonitoring("processMonitoringResource", ProcessMonitoringArgs.builder()
.autoMonitoring(false)
.hostGroupId("string")
.build());
process_monitoring_resource = dynatrace.ProcessMonitoring("processMonitoringResource",
auto_monitoring=False,
host_group_id="string")
const processMonitoringResource = new dynatrace.ProcessMonitoring("processMonitoringResource", {
autoMonitoring: false,
hostGroupId: "string",
});
type: dynatrace:ProcessMonitoring
properties:
autoMonitoring: false
hostGroupId: string
ProcessMonitoring Resource Properties
To learn more about resource properties and how to use them, see Inputs and Outputs in the Architecture and Concepts docs.
Inputs
In Python, inputs that are objects can be passed either as argument classes or as dictionary literals.
The ProcessMonitoring resource accepts the following input properties:
- Auto
Monitoring bool - By disabling automatic deep monitoring the Dynatrace OneAgent will only deep monitor processes that are covered by a respective deep monitoring rule or where monitoring is enabled explicitly. Disabling only works if all installed Agents have version 1.123 or higher.
- Host
Group stringId - The scope of this settings. If the settings should cover the whole environment, just don't specify any scope.

Outputs
All input properties are implicitly available as output properties. Additionally, the ProcessMonitoring resource produces the following output properties:
- Id string
- The provider-assigned unique ID for this managed resource.
- Id string
- The provider-assigned unique ID for this managed resource.
