aws.sfn.getStateMachine
Explore with Pulumi AI
Use this data source to get the ARN of a State Machine in AWS Step Function (SFN). By using this data source, you can reference a state machine without having to hard code the ARNs as input.
Example Usage
import * as pulumi from "@pulumi/pulumi";
import * as aws from "@pulumi/aws";
const example = aws.sfn.getStateMachine({
name: "an_example_sfn_name",
});
import pulumi
import pulumi_aws as aws
example = aws.sfn.get_state_machine(name="an_example_sfn_name")
package main
import (
"github.com/pulumi/pulumi-aws/sdk/v6/go/aws/sfn"
"github.com/pulumi/pulumi/sdk/v3/go/pulumi"
)
func main() {
pulumi.Run(func(ctx *pulumi.Context) error {
_, err := sfn.LookupStateMachine(ctx, &sfn.LookupStateMachineArgs{
Name: "an_example_sfn_name",
}, nil)
if err != nil {
return err
}
return nil
})
}

Function: aws:sfn:getStateMachine

name: an_example_sfn_name
Using getStateMachine
Two invocation forms are available. The direct form accepts plain arguments and either blocks until the result value is available, or returns a Promise-wrapped result. The output form accepts Input-wrapped arguments and returns an Output-wrapped result.
