aws.ec2.ImageBlockPublicAccess
Explore with Pulumi AI
Provides a regional public access block for AMIs. This prevents AMIs from being made publicly accessible. If you already have public AMIs, they will remain publicly available.
NOTE: Deleting this resource does not change the block public access value, the resource in simply removed from state instead.
Example Usage
import * as pulumi from "@pulumi/pulumi";
import * as aws from "@pulumi/aws";
// Prevent making AMIs publicly accessible in the region and account for which the provider is configured
const test = new aws.ec2.ImageBlockPublicAccess("test", {state: "block-new-sharing"});
import pulumi

Constructor example
The following reference example uses placeholder values for all input properties.
var imageBlockPublicAccessResource = new Aws.Ec2.ImageBlockPublicAccess("imageBlockPublicAccessResource", new()
{
State = "string",
});
example, err := ec2.NewImageBlockPublicAccess(ctx, "imageBlockPublicAccessResource", &ec2.ImageBlockPublicAccessArgs{
State: pulumi.String("string"),
})
var imageBlockPublicAccessResource = new ImageBlockPublicAccess("imageBlockPublicAccessResource", ImageBlockPublicAccessArgs.builder()
.state("string")
.build());
image_block_public_access_resource = aws.ec2.ImageBlockPublicAccess("imageBlockPublicAccessResource", state="string")
const imageBlockPublicAccessResource = new aws.ec2.ImageBlockPublicAccess("imageBlockPublicAccessResource", {state: "string"});
type: aws:ec2:ImageBlockPublicAccess

state: string
ImageBlockPublicAccess Resource Properties
To learn more about resource properties and how to use them, see Inputs and Outputs in the Architecture and Concepts docs.
Inputs
In Python, inputs that are objects can be passed either as argument classes or as dictionary literals.
The ImageBlockPublicAccess resource accepts the following input properties:
- State string
- The state of block public access for AMIs at the account level in the configured AWS Region. Valid values:
unblocked
andblock-new-sharing
.

Outputs
All input properties are implicitly available as output properties. Additionally, the ImageBlockPublicAccess resource produces the following output properties:
