aws.cloudwatch.EventBusPolicy
Explore with Pulumi AI
Provides a resource to create an EventBridge resource policy to support cross-account events.
Note: EventBridge was formerly known as CloudWatch Events. The functionality is identical.
Note: The EventBridge bus policy resource (
aws.cloudwatch.EventBusPolicy
) is incompatible with the EventBridge permission resource (aws.cloudwatch.EventPermission
) and will overwrite permissions.
Example Usage

Constructor example
The following reference example uses placeholder values for all input properties.
var eventBusPolicyResource = new Aws.CloudWatch.EventBusPolicy("eventBusPolicyResource", new()
{
Policy = "string",
EventBusName = "string",
});
example, err := cloudwatch.NewEventBusPolicy(ctx, "eventBusPolicyResource", &cloudwatch.EventBusPolicyArgs{

EventBusName: pulumi.String("string"),

var eventBusPolicyResource = new EventBusPolicy("eventBusPolicyResource", EventBusPolicyArgs.builder()
.policy("string")
.eventBusName("string")
.build());
event_bus_policy_resource = aws.cloudwatch.EventBusPolicy("eventBusPolicyResource",
policy="string",

});
type: aws:cloudwatch:EventBusPolicy
properties:
eventBusName: string

EventBusPolicy Resource Properties
To learn more about resource properties and how to use them, see Inputs and Outputs in the Architecture and Concepts docs.
Inputs
In Python, inputs that are objects can be passed either as argument classes or as dictionary literals.
The EventBusPolicy resource accepts the following input properties:
- Policy string
- The text of the policy.
- Event
Bus stringName - The name of the event bus to set the permissions on.
If you omit this, the permissions are set on the
default
event bus.
- Policy string
- The text of the policy.
- Event
Bus stringName - The name of the event bus to set the permissions on.
If you omit this, the permissions are set on the
default
event bus.
- policy String
- The text of the policy.
- event
Bus StringName - The name of the event bus to set the permissions on.
If you omit this, the permissions are set on the
default
event bus.
- policy string
- The text of the policy.
