We recommend new projects start with resources from the AWS provider.
The AWS::Logs::Destination resource specifies a CloudWatch Logs destination. A destination encapsulates a physical resource (such as an Amazon Kinesis data stream) and enables you to subscribe that resource to a stream of log events.
Create Destination Resource
Resources are created with functions called constructors. To learn more about declaring and configuring resources, see Resources.
Constructor syntax
new Destination(name: string, args: DestinationArgs, opts?: CustomResourceOptions);

def Destination(resource_name: str,
args: DestinationArgs,
opts: Optional[ResourceOptions] = None)

Destination Resource Properties
To learn more about resource properties and how to use them, see Inputs and Outputs in the Architecture and Concepts docs.
Inputs
In Python, inputs that are objects can be passed either as argument classes or as dictionary literals.
The Destination resource accepts the following input properties:
- Role
Arn string - The ARN of an IAM role that permits CloudWatch Logs to send data to the specified AWS resource
- Target
Arn string - The ARN of the physical target where the log events are delivered (for example, a Kinesis stream)
- Destination
Name string - The name of the destination resource
- Destination
Policy string - An IAM policy document that governs which AWS accounts can create subscription filters against this destination.

Outputs
All input properties are implicitly available as output properties. Additionally, the Destination resource produces the following output properties:
